I am passionate about teaching mindful doodling as a tool, that everyone, no matter their age, can use in everyday life.
I believe that understanding the significance of mindfulness practice, particularly when instilled from early developmental stages, is paramount in fostering holistic well-being. Mindfulness, in its essence, embodies the development of non-judgmental awareness and a conscious presence in the current moment. The benefits include stress reduction, improved emotional regulation, enhanced cognitive abilities, and heightened self-awareness. In this context, doodling is a perfect channel for nurturing mindfulness.
The simple act of doodling transcends the conventional boundaries of art creation, emphasising the process over the outcome. By engaging in spontaneous and unstructured drawing, individuals are encouraged to immerse themselves in the creative flow, fostering a sense of focus and tranquility. Doodling not only promotes the expression of thoughts and emotions but also cultivates patience, perseverance, and a deep appreciation for the journey of creation.
